This Formula 1 Chronograph Watch from TAG Heuer might just withstand a collision on the racetrack. Ideal for any athlete, this watch's masculine stainless-steel band joins to a sturdy 41-millimeter-in-diameter stainless-steel case topped by a sporty titanium carbide coated unidirectional bezel printed with large, silver-tone Arabic numerals in increments of five. Its impressive scratch-resistant sapphire-coated dial window reveals a black dial with silver-tone hour indicators and luminescent silver-tone hands. Three subdials and a discreet date window at the four o'clock add to the appeal. This watch also offers a triple-link stainless steel bracelet, precise Swiss quartz movement, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba diving.

The Tag Heuer F1 Is a Classic Timepiece

The F1 Tag has been around forever, and unlike some other Tag styles (which have come and gone) it's a classic. Many other watch manufacturers have copied it. Along with the Link series, I would say this is one of the most popular Tag lines. I admit it's not a dress watch per se, but the latest incarnation is very sharp and one can wear it with a suit. Quality is top notch! I believe the black chronograph is the best of them' all.

This is my first watch purchase from Amazon, and you cannot beat the price. A very well known watch store by me was at least $350 more (plus tax). Amazon offers it own guarantee on the watches they sell but beyond that I have nothing more to add. Rest assured though, the watches are authentic and the savings cannot be ignored. (make sure the seller is Amazon)
